Dr. Adam Dustin is board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and he belongs to the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the California Podiatric Medical Association.
EDUCATION Dr. Adam Dustin is board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He then went on to complete his four-year medical training at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. From there, he completed a three year residency at the world-renowned Cook County Hospital and Thorek Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. This included training in rearfoot, ankle arthroscopic, pediatric, and laser surgery. TEACHING Dr. Dustin has been teaching foot and ankle surgery in Europe, specifically Spain and Portugal, since 1998. At Universat Autonoma Medical School in Barcelona, Spain, he has taught surgical dissection and surgical anatomy to medical students, residents, and practicing physicians from all over Europe. Dr. Dustin travels to Spain at least once a year to teach doctors, in Spanish, from Spain, Portugal, France, Africa, and Italy. He has also preformed surgery as a professor of latest techniques in Porto, Portugal, as well as Elijido, Almeria, Garrucha, Cerdoanyola, Barcelona, and Alicante in Spain. He has taught bunion surgery to the National Podiatric Conference in Veracruz, Mexico. He also taught at a residency program in San Diego for six years. PERSONAL Dr. Dustin is a California native. He enjoys gardening, surfing, hiking, fishing, and working with computers. |
Dr. Sam Spencer graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in 1994. He later went on to complete his teaching certification in 1997. He went to Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center for his podiatric medicine training.

He completed a highly sought after 3 year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His surgical residency included reconstructive rearfoot and ankle training with correction of debilitating deformities. Dr. Spencer’s extensive training includes forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. He specializes in biomechanical foot and ankle problems, diabetic foot maladies, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. TEACHING He has lectured across the country on the latest surgical procedures including external fixation, pediatric foot problems, achilles tendon injuries, and foot and ankle trauma. PERSONAL His interests include sports, skiing, and spending time at the beach. Dr. Spencer was a high school teacher and varsity basketball coach prior to going to podiatric medical school. |
